Aniva as a Remi Health alternative
Remi Health is a good supplier, but Aniva goes further on catalogue, on collection and on the venous draw.
You are probably choosing a diagnostics supplier for a clinic, a health brand or a digital product in Europe. Both companies run home collection, so the real questions are catalogue depth and where your customer gives a venous sample. Aniva is the stronger answer on both.
Both companies side by side at a glance
Catalogue, collection, coverage, integration and standards, line by line.
You may need a larger catalogue than you think
Remi Health publishes 150+ CE-marked tests and names 70+ biomarkers on its longevity page, which covers what most preventive programmes sell in their first two years.
Aniva publishes over 2,500 parameters across eight modalities, and that breadth is what stops a programme outgrowing its supplier. The panel you sell in year three is never the panel you launch with, and a marker your supplier does not run means a second contract and a second integration.
- A longevity clinic opens on metabolic and hormone panels, then gets asked for ApoB, epigenetic age and a risk score within the year.
- A telehealth provider adds an indication every quarter, and each one needs markers the last one did not.
- A supplement brand measures before and after, then wants microbiome or nutrient status to show the product worked.
- An employer programme is judged on the risks it catches, so the catalogue sets how much it can look for.
None of those panels can be named on the day you sign, and a catalogue that already runs them means you never change supplier to sell them.
Both do home collection, and Aniva adds the venous network.
Venous draw
In your clinic or at 25+ partner locations
Capillary kit
Tasso, lancet, finger-prick
At-home kit
Mailed to your customer, prepaid return
Saliva
Hormones, genetics, microbiome
Urine
Metabolites, hormones, screening
Stool
Microbiome, iFOBT, calprotectin
Both companies do home collection, because a capillary device, a swab and a mailed kit cover micronutrient status, hormones and microbiome without a clinic visit. Remi Health names the Tasso device, a lancet kit and the Evalyn brush.
The venous draw is where the two answers differ. Remi Health works through partner clinics, and Aniva publishes 25+ partner locations across Germany plus a draw by your own team in your own rooms. Ask both suppliers how many locations exist in your cities.
Where each company is live today
Remi Health publishes Germany, Austria and Switzerland as live, with the United Kingdom, Spain, Italy, Sweden and Belgium named as launching. That is a wider published footprint than our German draw network, and if you sell in Vienna or Zurich next quarter it is a good reason to talk to them.
Aniva sells to partners across Europe today, and in Germany we run the deeper network: 25+ draw locations, plus a draw by your own team in your own rooms. Kit shipping, laboratory analysis and physical collection each have their own borders, so ask both suppliers about all three.
What your customer reads after the result
Remi Health publishes physician-validated results under your brand and offers a co-branded hosted flow. A brand with no engineering team can go live without building a front end at all.
Aniva gives you a white-label dashboard with a plain-language explanation for every marker, a trend view across repeated panels, a customer PDF, and your logo, colours and domain. It comes in German and English, with more languages on request.
For a membership, the trend view is what decides whether somebody renews, because a second panel only means something when the first one is visible beside it.
Questions buyers ask before the first call
Does Aniva replace a kit supplier or add to one?
Two of our six collection methods are kits, so a partner can use us for kits alone. Most clinics look further because of the venous draw, which a mailed kit cannot cover.
Is the venous network available outside Germany?
The 25+ partner draw locations are in Germany, and we sell to partners across Europe. Ask on the call how physical collection works in your country, because the answer differs by market.
What does Aniva cost, and is there a minimum?
We price to your volume and your panel mix, so you get a quote built around your programme on the first call. Remi Health publishes no minimums and per-kit and per-biomarker pricing, so take that difference to both calls.
What do our developers get on day one?
A REST API with signed webhooks for sample status, a sandbox with test data, and documentation at docs.anivahealth.com. Remi Health publishes an OAuth2 API and names its order, phlebotomy and result endpoints.
How long does it take to go live?
Both companies publish four weeks from a signed contract, and ours includes the white-label setup. Kalia Lab runs Berlin, Hamburg and Duesseldorf on a single integration.
