Aniva is the Probatix alternative with over 2,500 parameters

With Aniva you can order over 2,500 parameters across eight modalities, choose from six collection methods including a venous draw, and use over 25 partner locations in Germany, all under your own brand. Probatix is a good supplier of home test kits.

You can order over 2,500 parameters from the Aniva catalogue, across eight modalities from routine blood chemistry to genomics and proteomics. Probatix lists around 100 markers on their site and their largest profile has 14, so the two catalogues are not the same size.

With Aniva you can offer both. Capillary sampling runs across the EU, and Aniva draws venous blood in your own clinic and at over 25 partner locations in Germany. Probatix lists venous blood among their sample types but no draw locations, so you arrange that yourself.

Aniva runs the whole diagnostics operation under your own brand, so your customer sees your name on the report. One contract covers the laboratory, the kits, the courier, the software and the data agreement, and Kalia Lab works in three cities on that contract.

A venous draw is blood taken from a vein in the arm by trained staff. It gives far more serum than a sample taken at home, so one sample is enough for more than 40 analyses instead of a handful.

White label means the supplier does the work while your brand is the only one the customer sees, on the kit, in the portal and on the report. Aniva runs the operation and you keep the customer relationship.

With Aniva the analysis runs at a laboratory that works to RiliBÄK and holds ISO 15189 accreditation, the GDPR applies to the data, and the hosting is in Germany. RiliBÄK is the German federal medical association guideline on quality in medical laboratories.

We charge about 340 euro for each customer and no setup fee, and the same panel costs about 720 euro if you buy it from four specialist laboratories. Probatix charges from 1,000 euro to set up and then a fee for each test, with no rate card.

With Aniva it takes four weeks from a signed contract to your first customer, and the core panel comes back from the laboratory within 24 hours of pickup. Probatix says two to six weeks to go live and under 48 hours from sample receipt.

The Aniva partner contract includes safe-harbour wording for § 299a of the Strafgesetzbuch, the German criminal-code provision on corruption in healthcare, and for § 31 of the Musterberufsordnung für Ärzte, the model professional code for doctors. Probatix says nothing equivalent on their partner site.
